Grilled asparagus

600 g fresh green or white asparagus
Sea salt
Lemon juice
Vergine olive oil

Peel the asparagus and cut away about 1 cm at the bottom of the stalks. Heat the grill. Put the asparagus in a hinged gridiron and grill them a couple of minutes on each side. Put the asparagus on a serving plate and drizzle with sea salt, lemon juice and good vergine olive oil. You can also wrap cured or cooked ham around the asparagus and serve with new potatoes.

Grilled corn cobs

Parboiled or fresh corn cobs

1. oil, lemon pepper seasoning

2. tandoori corn
cooking yoghurt
tandoori paste
mint
lemon juice
salt, pepper

3. tarragon butter
50 g soft butter
1/2 bunch tarragon
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp tarragon mustard
salt, pepper

If you use fresh corn cobs, cook them first in salt water for about 10 minutes. Parboiled corn cobs are ready to be grilled. Season them according to your taste with pepper and lemon pepper, Indian-style tandoori sauce or with tarragon butter.
