Export Service
When shopping at Stockmann and at the Academic Bookstore, you can have your purchases shipped to your home or to the airport. If the destination is outside the European Union - and you are not a resident of the EU or Norway, the whole VAT will be decucted from the prices. Delivery costs and insurance will be added.
When you wish to use Export Service, ask the sales personnel to take your purchase to Export Service. You will not pay for the goods yet - you can continue shopping and have all your purchases delivered to the Export Service. When you have completed your shopping, you pay for all your purchases at the Export Service while arranging for the shipment.
Tax-Free for takeaway purchases
If you want to carry your new purchases with you, and are not a resident of the EU or Norway, you are entitled to a 10–16 % refund depending on the value of the purchase. Tax-Free cheques are issued for purchases exceeding 40 euro. You will receive the VAT refund at your port of departure from Finland/EU. When collecting your refund you need to present your passport, the sealed purchase and the Tax-Free cheque.
